Who are Standard Accounting?

Standard Accounting is a branch of 2020 Accountancy LLP registered in England and Wales (OC327981). We provide a variety of accountancy services and have tailored a designated hub for you to use as a quick and easy way to file important documents with HMRC. Why have I received a letter from Standard Accounting?

If you have received a letter from Standard Accounting it is because a company of which you are a director has an important filing date upcoming and some action needs to be taken to remain compliant and avoid consequences from Companies House. Any deadlines referred to are imposed by Companies House and HMRC.


Where do you get company information from?

Companies House makes all UK company data available to the public on the Companies House website.


Is it possible to do these filings myself?

Yes, but you need to know how and need to have certain information to hand in order do this. Depending on what needs filing, Companies House will still charge you if you file directly. Any companies house fees are included in our price.


What if I already have an accountant?

If you already have an accountant you can disregard any letters from us and ask your accountant to make sure the filing is done accordingly.


What happens if I don’t file my confirmation statement?

As per Companies House guidance: "If you do not file your statement within 14 days of the end of your review period, your company and its officers may be prosecuted. Your company may also be struck off the register."


How is payment made?

We use Stripe to process our payments. You can read more about security at Stripe here. Your payment details are never sent to our servers and are never visible to us.


Will I be set up for repeated payments?

No. We will only take payment for the services you have requested and will not take repeated payments. However, your bank may show the payment to us as having been set up as a "recurring payment" because of the way Stripe bills you. You can find out more about this on Stripe's website here.


What if I have placed an order by mistake?

Please email us at info@standardaccounting.co.uk and state the reason you wish to be refunded. We will process and confirm accordingly.


What if I don’t want to be contacted again by Standard Accounting?

Please email us at info@standardaccounting.co.uk with your company number and we will ensure you are not contacted by us again.
